The ZOLL AED Plus is designed to assist victims of sudden cardiac arrest by automatically analyzing their ECG rhythm and determining if a shock is necessary. It will prompt the rescuer to deliver a shock if a shockable rhythm is detected, either through instructions or automatically after a countdown It features integrated feedback for CPR, adaptive metronome for correct compression rates, automatic self-testing, and is equipped for pediatric use with specific electrodes.

The AED is intended for trained personnel and requires knowledge of basic life support or advanced medical response.
