The Welch Allyn Pocket Otoscope and associated accessories are intended to be used for transmitting light into the ear canal to assess the health of the ear and support diagnoses of conditions of the ear.

The Welch Allyn Pocket Ophthalmoscope is intended for viewing the fundus, supporting the diagnosis of ocular structure conditions, and viewing ocular abnormalities that may be indicative of conditions elsewhere in the body. The device also is intended for illuminating the cornea and iris to detect foreign bodies in the cornea and irregularities of the pupil.
